On Battery pack

• Store the battery pack at a

temperature between 5°C (41°F) and

35°C (95‘’F) for best performance.

• If you do not use the handset for a

long period of time, remove fhe
battery pack.

MUST BE DISPOSED OF

PROPERLY.

On Power failure

• During a power interruption, the base

unit does not operate, and a phone
conversation cannot be made on the

handset unless a spare battery is

installed in the base unit.

Nickel-Cadmium batteries are recyclable.
You can help preserve our environment by
returning your unwanted batteries to your
nearest Sony Service Center or Factory

Service Center for collection, recycling or
proper disposal.

Note
In some areas the disposal of Nickel

Cadmium batteries in household or business
trash may be prohibited. For the Sony Service

Center nearest you call 1-800-222-SONY

(United States Only).

Caution
Do not handle damaged or leaking Nickel-

Cadmium batteries.

Maintenance

Clean the base unit and handset with
a soft cloth slightly moistened with
water or a mild detergent solution. Do
not use any type of abrasive pad,
scouring powder or solvenf such as
alcohol or benzine as fhey may

damage the finish of the base unit and
handset.

• If fhe ferminals (metal parts on the

base unit and the handset) are soiled,
wipe them with a soft cloth or paper
towel.

your nearest Sony dealer.
