5. Shutter Release Lever
The AF310XL-S and AF310XL both have a
two-step shutter release lever. Picture is usu
ally composed in such a way that the subject
of main interest covers the center of the view
finder. By pressing the shutter lever
O
HALFWAY, the following functions take
place:
1. The exposure is metered.
2. The recording level is checked. (With
AF310XL-S)
3. The autofocus system is activated.*
What happens?
1. You’ll hear a slight, steady motor
sound.
