Things to Keep in Mind When Fiiming

1. With the AF310XL-S, sound is record

ed eighteen frames ahead of the corre
sponding picture frame. For editing

purposes, we therefore recommend

shooting one or two seconds longer

than necessary at the end of each fiim

ing sequence.

2. it is not advisabie to film under TV

towers

or

strong

electro-magnetic

fieids with the AF31OXL-S, as radio fre
quency interference may be recorded.

3. Correct focusing is impossibie with the

Canon C-8 Wide Attachment 43 mount
ed on either camera’s lens.

Fiiming a Teievision Screen

Both cameras have wide shutter sectors,

enabling you to fiim most dimiy iit subjects,

inciuding the image on a TV screen. If you are

filming a color TV and Type A film is ioaded,
set the CCA fiiter switch to . Keep in

mind, however, that depending on the broad

casting system, some stripes may show up in
your movies.
