SUBJECTS WHICH ARE MOVING A
CONSIDERABLE
DISTANCE
AWAY
FROM OR TOWARDS THE CAMERA
With moving subjects, you don’t have to
worry about focusing if you are fiiming out
doors in normai dayiight. But to be on the
safe side, especiaily when filming in dim
light, follow this procedure:
1. Set the manual zooming lever to “W,”
(wide angle).
2. Determine the middle point between
your subject’s original and ending
position.
Prefocus, as previously explained, on
the middle point of your subject’s desti
nation. Then begin filming.
You can completely avoid these steps if you
film your subject from the side; in other
words, film your subject moving across the
viewfinder.
Note:
Don’t cover the autofocus windows with
your fingers or hair when filming.
