□ 8. Using Eye-Controlled Autofocus

With Eye-Controlled Autofocus, you just look at the focusing point to
select it.

• If the calibration No. is already set, skip steps 1 and 2 below.

^ Set the Command Dial to l^i.

Turn the Main Dial until your
calibration No. is displayed on the

LCD panel.

• The calibration No. blinks if it has no

calibration setting.

Set the Command Dial to
desired picture-taking mode.

Eye-Controlled Autofocus can be used

with all modes except Full Auto.

Press the focusing point selector.

• The current focusing point will light in red

in the viewfinder and the corresponding

focusing point symbol on the LCD panel
will blink.
