The Optima™ Seating System at some point may require cleaning. To ensure a
safe cleaning session, follow the guidelines listed below:
WARNING
Do NOT Immerse or place your Optima™ system in direct contact with water.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury, use extreme caution when cleaning the
Optima's™ mechanical and moveable parts.
FRAME, SEAT PAN, BACK PAN
• External wiping and dusting of the frame, seat pan, and back pan may be
done using a damp (glass cleaner) cloth.
MOTOR/ACTUATOR
• External wiping and cleaning of the area around the motor(s) and
actuator may be done using glass cleaner.
• Actuator shaft(s) may be wiped clear of dirt and debris periodically
using a soft dry cloth.
• Wipe off or blow away any dirt, dust, or debris on or around
the motor(s).
SINGLE POST TOGGLE SWITCH
AND ELECTRONIC ENCLOSURE
• External wiping or blowing away of any dirt, dust, or debris on or
around the single post toggle switch and/or the electronic enclosure.
NOTE:
The procedures above pertain to the Optima™ Seating System ONLY. Reference
your power base user manual or contact the power base manufacturer for information
regarding cleaning of the power base unit.
