ATTENDANT CONTROLS

All Optima™ Systems comes standard with Attendant Controls

installed on the back canes. (See Figures 6 & 7)

THROUGH THE JOYSTICK FUNCTIONS

The Optima™ System can be set-up to have its functions controlled by the
power base main drive joystick. Currently the Optima™ can interface with
P&G (Pride/Sunrise), Dynamic (Pride/Sunrise), and Invacare controllers. Please
reference the Controller’s User Manual for operating the Optima's™ functions.

LATERAL SUPPORTS

The OPTIMA back pan has pre-drilled holes to accommodate lateral supports.
These supports are optional and can be included with the OPTIMA upon
request. The lateral supports have slotted mounting brackets which allow for a
range of medial/lateral adjustments. The pre-drilled holes in the OPTIMA back
pan are spaced one inch on center vertically and allows for many different
lateral support height adjustments. The lateral supports are independent and
may be adjusted individually to fit any client.

TO ADJUST MEDIAL /LATERALLY

1. Loosen 4 Allen screws.

2. Slide the support to desired location.

3. Re-tighten the screws.

TO ADJUST THE HEIGHT

1. Loosen and remove 4 Allen screws and washers.

2. Move the support bracket to the desired height then align holes.

3. Replace washers and Allen screws and tighten securely.

HEADREST

The Optima™ back pan has pre-drilled holes to
support a variety of headrests. Position Dynamics
offers a headrestas optional equipment and can
be included with the Optima™ upon request.
When mounting a headrest assembly, make
certain that the headrest mounting holes are aligned
with the proper pre-drilled back pan holes to obtain
the desired headrest position.

AES COBRA STYLE HEADREST

This headrest offers a variety of adjustments features
to fit each individual client needs. Reference Figure 1
for locating adjustment mechanisms.
