BEADING FOOT

5.0~7.0 2.0~4.5

Use the beading foot to attach bead strings for surface embellishment.

1. Place the beading foot onto the presser foot holder.
2. Thread the top of the machine with invisible thread and the bobbin with sewing thread that

matches the fabric.

3. Place the bead string under the foot, making sure it is centered in the groove on the underside

of the foot. Pull a small length of the bead string out the back of the foot to hold while you start
sewing. Place stabilizer under the fabric.

4. Testing on a scrap fabric, select a zigzag stitch, with the width setting wide enough to go over

the bead string with hitting the bead string. Check by turning the handwheel toward you slowly
to make sure the swing of the needle clears the bead string.

5. Stitch the bead string, sewing slowly. Depending on the fabric being sewn, it may be necessary

to reduce upper thread tension slightly.

6. Pull the work out toward the back of the presser foot to remove it when finished sewing.

Note: This foot will accommodate bead strings with a maximum width of 5mm.

* The beading foot is an optional accessory.
