Troubleshooting
Fault Check Comments
The CP4 is not powering up. Check that the power cable is connected and
secured.
See the section Power Connections on page 8
If the CP4 is being powered by a battery pack,
ensure that the battery is fully charged.
Check that mains power is being supplied to the
PSU.
Intermittent or no communication
with connected camera heads. Check that the camera heads are receiving power
and are switched on.
Check that Ethernet cables between the CP4 and
the camera heads are correctly connected and
secured.
See the section Installation on page 8
If an Ethernet hub is being used to connect camera
heads, ensure that it is being powered.
Check that the network settings have been correctly
configured on the CP4 and the camera heads.
See the sections Panel Configuration on page 12
and Camera Heads Configuration on page 14.
The CP4 becomes unresponsive
during use. Power cycle the CP4. If the CP4 will not power down with the on/off
switch, temporarily disconnect the power cable.
