Tape Playback □
1. Set [FM MODE/TAPE] to match the type of
tape.
HIGH [ MTL I: Metal and high position tapes
NOR; Normal position tapes
2. Insert the tape.
0 Forward side
{[DIR] is switched to [FWD].)
3. Press [^ ►].
4. Adjust the volume.
Auto-reverse
Play continues, looping forward and reverse
sides, until [■] is pressed.
■ To stop playback
Press [■].
■ To change sides
Tape direction can be reversed manually using
[DIR].
■ To wind the tape
Press [*^-^] or [►►] m the stop mode.
The tape will rapidly move in the direction of
the arrow.
•When the tape reaches the end after fast
forward or rewind, press [■] to release the
button.
Note:
•Do not open the cassette compartment cover
during tape operation.
• Between functions (during play, fast forward
or rewind), always press [■] first to avoid
jamming the tape.
• Press [■] to stop the tape before operating
the radio. While playing a tape, the radio will
not turn on even if you press [»AM/FM/OFF,
• MODE Ml/tf ].
