■ Search function
You can search rapidly forward or backward on the disc for specific
sections.
While in play mode, press and hold one of the search buttons.
Release the button when you have reached the desired point.

^ ; You can search forward.
□ : You can search backward.
At first the search is slow, and then becomes more rapid if the
button is kept depressed.
The volume level will drop to about V

of normal.
During program play and random play, search will take place within
the track being played.
■ Skip function
(Also available from the remote control)
Press either C
□ or C
the desired track.
^ : You can skip forward.

until you reach
□: You can skip backward.
In sequential play/program play mode;
^ : You can skip as many tracks as the number of time
you press the button.
You can skip to the beginning of the track being
played. If you press this button again quickly, you can
skip to the beginning of the previous track.
Note that in a backward skip, the current track is
included in the count.
In program play mode, you can skip only within the programmed
tracks.
In random play mode:
^: You can skip to the beginning of a random track.
