■ To use each timer mode in conjunction

For example, to go to sleep listening to a FM broadcast, and

wake up the next morning listening to a compact disc.

1. Make a play timer setting for a compact disc.

(Follow steps 1 to

on pages 64-65.)

2. Tune In your desired band and station, and adjust the volume

level.

3. Press CLOCK/TIMER to select SLEEP timer, and set the sleep

time.

For example, to go to sleep listening to a compact disc, and

then to make a timer recording from a radio broadcast.

1. Make a record timer setting.

(Follow steps 1 to 5 on pages 66-67.)

2. Play a compact disc, and adjust the volume level.

3. Press CLOCK/TIMER to select SLEEP timer, and set the sleep

time.

Be sure to set the sleep timer off before the timer recording will

begin.

For example, to make a timer recording from a radio broadcast
white sleeping, and wake up the next morning listening to a
cassette tape.

Timer sequence of priority

Sleep timer, record timer, play timer is the timer operation of priority

in order. Be sure not to make each timer setting overlap.

If programmed times overlap among play timer, record timer and

sleep timer settings, timer operation is as follows;

When the record timer and the sleep timer setting has over­

lapped:

The sleep timer setting has priority, so the record timer will not
function.

When the OFF (or ON) time of the record timer and the ON (or

OFF) time of the play timer is same, both timer will function.
