Setting the ring count in the FAX ONLY mode
Receiving Faxes
This setting determines the number of rings before the unit answers a call in the FAX ONLY mode.
You can choose from 2 to 9 rings, if you use the unit with an answering machine (p. 63-65), set the ring count
to more than 5.
Helpful hints;
•To answer a call before the unit does, increase the number of rings.
• If you have difficulty receiving faxes, the other parties may have tried to send faxes before confirming if your
unit answered or not. Decrease the number of rings.
