Replace belt whenever a burning rubber smell caused by excessive slippage occurs /

>• Place carpet-bare floor selector In CARPET position /

>- Remove iower plate /

Remove agitator by carefully lifting out /

>■ Remove worn or broken belt /
Quite la correa gastada o rota
If end caps fall off, do not lose the two (2) washers /
Si $e caen los tapas del extremo, no pierda las dos (2)
arandelas
>- Loop new belt (Panasonic Type UB8 only) around
motor shaft and brush pulley; see illustration for
correct belt routing /
Envuelva la correa nueva (Panasonic Type UB8 solamente)

>- Clean agitator and replace the two (2) washers and end
caps/
