Using the virtual rear surround
effect □
•When the surround speakers are put on the front speakers, this
mode makes it seem like the sound from the surround speakers is
coming from behind you.
• This mode can only be turned on if the [VIRTUAL REAR
SURROUND] lamp is orange. The mode cannot be used if the lamp
is off.
Press [VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND].
The [VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND] lamp turns green.
To turn off the VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND mode
Press [VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND].
With the remote control
(3) Press [AV EFFECT] ([SHIFT]+[ANGLE]).
(D Press [◄] or [►] so the [VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND] lamp
flashes.
@ Press [T] (off) or [A] (on).
The [VIRTUAL REAR SURROUND] lamp will stop flashing in a white.
! Using the multi rear surround

•This mode makes it seem like there are multiple surround speakers
in your room,
•This mode can only be turned on if the [MULTI REAR SURROUND]
lamp is orange. The mode cannot be used if the lamp is off.
Press [MULTI REAR SURROUND],
The [MULTI REAR SURROUND] lamp turns green.
To turn off the MULTI REAR SURROUND mode
Press [MULTI REAR SURROUND].
With the remote control
© Press [AVEFFECT|([SHIFT]+[ANGLE]).
@ Press [◄] or [►] so the [MULTI REAR SURROUND] lamp
flashes.
(3) Press [▼] (off) or [A] (on).
The [MULTI REAR SURROUND] lamp will stop flashing in a while.
Bnjoying sound with simulated
stereo B
This mode adds stereo effect to monaural sources.
Press [SIMULATED STEREO],
The [SIMULATED STEREO] lamp lights.
To turn off the SIMULATED STEREO mode
Press [SIMULATED STEREO],
The [SIMULATED STEREO] lamp goes out.
