Using the timer

Using the record timer

This timer records the radio at the set time.
The example shows settings for recording preset channel 3 from

6:00 p.m. (18:00) to 6:30 p.m.(18:30).

The example in the figure is 12 hour clock.

Preparation:

Turn the unit on, set the time page 14), preset radio stations

•The display will show ON time, OFF time, the broadcast sta­

tion you select alternately, and then resumes the previous dis­

play.

•Please confirm “© REC".

Q Prepare for recording.

© Insert a tape into deck 2.
@ Select the Dolby NR mode.
@ Select the reverse mode.
@ Select the tape travel direction.

Q Press Standby/on switch to switch the power

to standby mode.

The timer recording will start 30 seconds before the preset time.
The sound will be automatically muted during timer recording.

To cancel the timer

Turn the unit on and press [© PLAY/© REC] to turn off “© REC".

Each time you press the button,
© PLAY-^© REC^® PLAY © REC->Light off (off)

The record timer function will be cancelled, but the settings stay in the

memory.
