6. Automatic Dialing

The unit’s memory allows you to use both one-touch dialing and speed dialing for rapid access to your most

frequently dialed numbers.

One-touch dialing:

The unit is equipped with 6 direct call station keys, each of which is divided into an

upper station and a lower station.

Speed dialing:

The unit is equipped with additional 28 dialing stations. These stations are assigned to

2-digit numbers (00-27).

Storing Tel/Fax numbers

Turn over the directory card first (see page 9).

• To enter a hyphen in a phone number, press direct call station 6.

You can confirm that phone numbers and their station names have been correctly stored by printing a

telephone number list (see page 44).

When you would like the phone number not to appear on the display and on the telephone number list

printout, you can keep a whole or a portion of the number secret. Press the SECRET button (direct call

station 5} before and after the phone number you wish to keep secret. Pressing the SECRET button once
counts as two digits.
