7.11 Time

Use the Time Configuration sub-menu to configure, update, and
maintain the correct time on the internal system clock. The time
can be configured manually or a network time server can be
selected and the time updated via the Network Time Protocol
(NTP).

7.11.1

Time Configuration.

Current Router Time. Displays the day, date and local time used
by the MBR1000.

Time Zone.

Select the local time zone.

Enable Daylight Saving.

Check this option to adjust for daylight

savings time.

Daylight Saving Offset.

Select the time offset for daylight savings

time.

Daylight Savings Dates.

Set the month, week, day of week and

time for the MBR1000 to switch to/from Daylight Savings Time.

7.11.2

Automatic Time Configuration

Enabling this option allows the MBR1000 to contact network time
servers to automatically adjust the MBR1000 clock. If you are
using schedules or logs, this is the best way to ensure that the
schedules and logs are accurate.

Enable NTP Server.

Select this option if you want the router‟s

clock synchronized to a Time Sever over the Internet.

NTP Server Used.

Select a Time Server for synchronization. You

can type in the address of a time server or select one from the
drop down menu.
