PULVERISETTE 25

2.3 Protective Equipment

x Protective equipment must be used as intended and must not

be rendered disabled or dismantled.

x All protective devices should be regularly checked for

completeness and to ensure that they are functioning
correctly.

x The cutting mill is equipped with a safety lock for personal

protection, which locks the front cover flap (6) during
operation.

x The safety switches (11,15,17) prevent operation of the cutting

mill when the grinding chamber and the standard funnel (1)
are not closed and no collecting vessel (8) has been inserted.

x

Do not operate the machine without a feed funnel (1 or
22).

The feed funnels (1.22) are mechanical protective devices
which permit safe feeding.

x When changing the feed funnel (1,22), disconnect the

machine from the mains supply and fit the new feed funnel
(1.22) immediately! (See chapter 4.1.7)

x Motor protection switch (see chapter 4.4).

2.3.1 Opening the cover flap, when the machine is not connected to

the mains supply

Important:
Manual unlocking of the safety lock (11) may only take place
while the cover flap (6) is closed.

The latch clamps (13) of the door must be locked!

1. Insert the attached triangular wrench through the bore located

below the safety lock and turn clockwise.

2. The cover flap (6) can now opened after the latch clamp (13)

of the machine is opened.

3. The cutting mill can now not be switched on. For this, the

safety switches (11) must be activated by turning the
triangular wrench anticlockwise, the cover flap (6) must be
closed and the latch clamp (13) thrown to fix the cover flap (6)!
