PULVERISETTE 25

3.5 Ambience conditions

x Use the instrument only inside.
x The air must not contain any electrical conductive dust.
x The ambient temperature must be between 5 and 40°C.
x Height up to 2000m M.S.L.
x Maximum relative humidity of air 80% temperature up to 31qC,

linear decreasing down to 50% relative humidity of air at 40

qC

x Contamination level 2 (IEC 664)

3.6 Electrical Connection

Before making the connection, compare the voltage and current
values shown on the nameplate with the values of the mains
supply to which the machine is to be connected. (See chapter 1.5
Technical Data)

If the STOP button lights up red after connection to a three-
phase power supply
and switching of the main switch (19) to I
(ON), the direction of rotation must be corrected. This requires
that two phases be swapped in the connection plug.

The connecting cable may be changed only by a trained
expert.

3.7 Before Switching On for the First Time

1. Connect the instrument to the mains with the mains plug (20).

2. Set the main switch (19) on the back of the instrument to I

(ON); the START button must light up green. If the STOP
button lights up red, see chapter 3.6.

3. Set the main switch (19) on the back of the instrument to 0

(OFF).

4. Remove the cap from the central hole in the cover flap (6).

5. Run the enclosed Allen key through the central hole. Now turn

the Allen key to check whether the rotor (3) turns freely.

6. Pull the Allen key back out!

7. If the rotor (3) does not turn freely, do as described in chapter 4.1.3.

This check must also be performed every time the rotor (3),
the stationary knives (4,5,9) or the sieve cassette (7) are
changed!
