example might be a word with a challenging text-to-speech pronunciation
like “anesthesiology,” which should be spelled phonetically. This change
will not show up on the main screen, reports or pagers; it will only change
the pronunciation as spoken by the system.

Assign a custom “Alert Message” as desired.

Add “Notes” as desired in the available field.

Click “Update Device Record.”

5.3 Specialized and Motion Detector Transmitter
Installation

Inovonics specialized transmitters can be used for unique security applications
including custom designed applications. They include bill trap transmitter,
glassbreak transmitters, and smoke detectors.

5.3.1 Register a Specialized or Motion Detector Transmitter

Click “Administration.”

Click “Monitored Devices.”

Open the transmitter housing and press the reset button.

Click the name of the device in the “Device Description” field.

• If there is more than one new device, make sure the ID number in the new

device list matches that on the box of the universal transmitter.

Select desired “Device Category.”

Enter a “Monitored Device Description.”
