ALT. CH (Alternate Channel) Button
Press to return to the TV channel you were viewing immediately
before switching to your current channel.
CHANNEL Up/Down Buttons --------------------------------------------
Press to scan through theTV/VCR’s channels.
VOLUME Up/Down Buttons ----------------------------------------------
Press to adjust the sound level. If you press the VOLUME
Up/Down buttons when the sound is muted, the sound will be
restored.
MUTE Button --------------------------------------------------------------------
Press to eliminate theTV/VCR’s sound. Press again to return to
the previous volume level.
F.FWD/+ Button ----------------------------------------------------------------
When in Stop mode, press to fast forward the tape at high speed.
During tape playback, press to f^t forward while the picture stays
on-screen. Detof/s are on page SO,
Press to change a setting of a pop up menu item.
Press to adjust the picture controls. Details are on pages 24 - 25.
STOP/T Button ---------------------------------------------------------------------
Press to stop tape playback or recording.
Press to select an item in the pop up menu.
PAUSE/STILL Button -----------------------------
In Record mode, press to temporarily stop the recording (pause).
Press again to resume recording. Detdfe are on page 29. You cannot
pause a One Touch Recording that is set for a specific length of
time.
During tape playback, press to freeze the picture (still). Each time
you press the PAUSE/STILL button, the noise lines will change
position on-screen, Defaf/s are on page SO,
MEMORY Button--------------------------------------------------------------------
Press to memorize a tape position at which the real time counter
was set to 0:00:00. DetoiVs are on page 48. Or, press to memorize
the start and end position on a tape when setting up A-B Repeat
Playback. Details are on pages 46 - 47.
CLEAR Button ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Press to erase incorrect data when programmingTV/VCR func
tions. Also, press to reset the real time counter. Deta/7s are on page
48.
