TO END PRESS EXIT

Press the Number buttons to enter the PlusCode pro­

gramming number of the program you wish to record (this

number is different for every program, and it can be four to eight
digits long). Finally, press the VCR PLUS+ button.

To record the program once, press the Number I button
to select ONCE. To record the same program every day
from Monday through Friday, press the Number 2 button
to select DAILY. To record the same program every week

on the same day (such as every Saturday), press the
Number 3 button to select WEEKLY.

Follow the steps below to program a timer recording using the
PlusCode programming numbers in your TV guide. Before you
begin, make sure:

The clock has been set. If not,

Channels are programmed.

o

There is a tape in theTV/VCR. (make sure the tape’s record tab

Is intact and the tape is long enough to record the program),

o

You have completed the steps on pages 36-37.

Complete each step within 60 seconds of completing the
previous step. If you don't, you may return to step I.

Helpful Hints

If the power fb//s, programmed timer

recordings will not be lost The pro­

grammed timer recordings will be

restored when the clock is reset after
the power failure. (The clock will
reset itself automatically if you are

using the AUTO CLOCK feoture.
Detoi/s are on pages 14- 17. if you
are not using the AUTO CLOCK fea­

ture, reset the clock manually; then,
the timer recording will be restored.

timer recording will not occur only if
the timer recording was scheduled to
tote place during the power failure.

the 7V/VCR is in Record Defeat

» If CODE ERROR flashes after you

enter the PlusCode programming num­
ber and press the VCR PLUS+ button,

" CLASH may flash on the screen after

you complete step 2. This means that

the timer recording you just pro­

grammed and another timer recording

overlap, and thus the current timer
recording will not be carried out
