*** Important Notes ***
Follow all wiring and installation instructions exactly. The following are steps
absolutely critical to the process of installation of the SecureLift system. Read
through all instructions before beginning installation, and pay particular attention
to the items listed here.
*** Motor Phasing ***
Electrical phasing of the winches is a trial and error process through wiring and
testing; switching any two of the three phase lines to each winch will reverse its
direction. See diagram below for location of Limit Switch Activating Rod inside
winch body. Winch operation direction must be verified by use of function key pad
inside control panel. This is a required and independent check separate from the key
switch:
•
Operate winches in manual mode, and visually confirm that each winch operates
in the up direction when the up key is pressed.
•
Watch the Limit Switch Activating Rod inside winch to verify that rod is
traveling towards up limit switch.
•
Depress the up limit switch manually to verify that the winch stops.
•
The electrical wiring is out of phase if winch does not stop but depressing
opposite limit switch does stop winch.
•
If this is the case, switch any two of the power leads to the winch.
•
Repeat process for opposite direction to verify all components are wired
correctly.
