SOLDERING TIPS

Always use a good, high-heat soldering iron.

Preparing The Wire: Strip the insulation from the end

of the wire. Tightly twist the exposed strands of wire.

Apply heat to exposed wire with iron and add solder to

the tip of the iron and to exposed wire at the same time.
Soldering The Wire:
Pre-tin the surface being soldered

to. Place stripped & tinned end of wire on surface and

heat with iron--add just enough solder to form a clean

and continuous joint from the surface up onto the wire.

IMPORTANT NOTE

PROLONGED/EXCESSIVE HEATING WILL DAMAGE PC BOARDS
