The magazine spring is being compressed during assembly. guard the
magazine insert and magazine spring with your thumb to control magazine
spring tension. uncontrolled release can cause injury. Wear eye protection.
8.5 magazine assembly
1. orient the magazine follower on the magazine spring and insert into the
bottom of the magazine tube.
2. Place the magazine insert over the bottom of the magazine spring, with
the dimple facing outward
3. compress the magazine spring fully into the magazine tube. The
magazine insert should be flush with the bottom of the magazine tube.
4. Holding the magazine insert in place, slide the magazine floorplate from
the front onto the magazine tube lips until the magazine floorplate is locked
in place by the magazine insert.
