6.4.7. Missed  Approach  Mode  (Vizion  385  

ONLY)  

This  mode  allows  the  autopilot  to  break  off  from  a  coupled  glide  

slope   and   initiate   a   500   fpm   climb   while   maintaining   the   current  
track,   but   staying   in   GPSS   mode.     This   mode   can   only   be   initiated  

while   coupled   to   an   LPV   glide   slope   with   the   display   showing   GS  
CPLD
.     To   use   Missed   Approach   Mode,   press   ALT.     Figure   6.4.7a  
shows  the  autopilot  in  the  Missed  Approach  Mode.
