with

both

When

too

tight,

the

lower

thread

is

pulled

up

over

thread

which

lying flat on the fabric ("Fig. 16).

When

the

under

tension

is

too

tight,

the

upper

mread

forms loops

over the lower

thread lyinq flat on

the fabric (Fig. 17).
