Set stitcli length control at numher 3 or 4.
Set zigzag stitch width and buttonhole control knobs at u.
Set decorative stitch dial at blind stitch design.
Set needle position lever at R. (Pig • 26)
Set zigzag width control to suit material being sewn.
The higher the number the wider the sidewise stitch.
Blind stitch hems provide a durable hem finish that is almost invisible and comparable
to hand sewing.
Prepare the garment in the same manner as for hand hemming.

Step 1. If hem with folded edge is used, make first fold %" deep.
Step 2. Turn hem to depth desired and baste %" from upper edge. Press into place.
Step 3. Fold hem back toward right side of garment leaving extended.
Step 4. Place garment under presser foot and sew blind hem.
