3. Loosely attach top of discharge chute
with two 5/16-18
X 3/4 carriage bolts and
two 5/16-18 flange nuts (0). The nuts
should be to the outside.
4. Tighten all four nuts and bolts installed
in Steps 2 and 3.
33" & 36" Inch Mower Deck
Installation
1. Lift tractor up and slide mower deck
under tractor with gage wheels toward the
rear.
2. Connect lift rods (D, Fig. 7) to mower
decks and secure with spring pins (L).
3. Connect pivot rods (E, Fig. 7) to lift
plates (F) on mower deck. Secure with
spring pins (X).
4. Connect front of rod end (U, Fig. 6) to
tractor and secure with clevis pin (V) and
spring pin (W).
5. Remove belt guide (P, Fig. 7),
6. Route mower drive belt over sheave
(Y). It may be necessary to rotate
differential to assemble belt.
7. Re-install belt guide (P) as far to the
front as possible. Re-tighten belt guide.
Check clearance between guide (P) and
bolt head on differential. A1/8" minimum
gap should exist.
8. Install mower blade drive cable (S,
Figs. 8,9 & 10) from tractor, onto cable
support (Q), as shown in Figs. 8,9 & 10.
9. With the mower blade drive lever (F,
page 17, Fig. 23) in the disengaged
(DOWN) position. Adjust nuts (R, Fig. 10
so all slack has been taken up in cable (S).
Tighten nuts (R).
36" Discharge Chute Assembly
1. Secure discharge chute (T, Fig. 11)
over discharge opening with two 3/8-16 x
3/4 carriage bolts and 3/8-16 top lock nuts
(N). Install so the nuts are on top.
