4.2 Sample Programs

Sample programs are provided in the Dynamic C

folder.

The various folders contain specific sample programs that illustrate the use of the corre-
sponding Dynamic C libraries. For example, the sample program

PONG.C

demonstrates

the output to the Dynamic C

STDIO

window.

The

SAMPLES\JACKRAB

folder contains sample programs that illustrate features unique to

the Jackrabbit.

Follow the instructions included with the sample program to connect the Jackrabbit and
the other hardware identified in the instructions.

To run a sample program, open it with the

File

menu (if it is not still open), then compile

and run it by selecting

Run

in the

Run

menu (or press

F9

). The Jackrabbit must be in

Program Mode (programming cable is attached to programming port as shown in
Figure 2) and must be connected to a PC using the programming cable.

More complete information on Dynamic C is provided in the Dynamic C User’s Manual.

The sample programs are listed in Table 4.

The first five sample programs provide a step-by-step introduction to the Jackrabbit board.
Additional sample programs illustrate more advanced topics.
