16 Functional Description
3.4 Battery
The cPCI-6615 is provided with a 3.0V “coin cell” lithium battery
for the Real Time Clock (RTC). The battery socket is equipped
onboard. The lithium battery must be replaced with an identical
battery or a battery type recommended by the manufacturer. A
Rayovac BR2032 is equipped onboard by default.
3.5 PMC
The cPCI-6615P Series supports one PMC site for front panel I/O
expansion. The PMC site provides a maximum 64-bit/133MHz
PCI-X bus link using a Pericom PI7C9X130 PCI-Express-to-PCI-X
bridge and PCI-Express x4 link. The PMC site requires 12V to
power up.
