5.3 Memory Installation
The cPCI-6615 series provides two SO-DIMM sockets and a
memory retention bracket to secure memory on the board.
1. Insert the memory modules(s) into the SO-DIMM socket
at a 30° angle and press down the edge of the module
until the retaining clips "click".
2. Slide in the memory retention bracket into place and
secure it with the screw provided. The retention bracket
will prevent all four SO-DIMM retaining clips from pop-
ping open.
