4.7 Switch and Jumper Settings
Load BIOS Default Switch (SW1)
Press switch SW4 to load the default BIOS settings.The switch
is located on the component side of the board, between the
CompactPCI J3 and J5 connectors, next to the SATA connec-
tor (CN5).
System Reset Switch (SW4)
Press switch SW4 to reset the system. The switch is located on
the front panel, between GbE1 and the USB ports.
VGA Mode Jumper (JPX2)
VGA output can be switched from the front panel (box header
on 4HP model) to the RTM (J3) by jumper selection. On the
8HP version, VGA output is set to the front panel VGA port by
default (pins 1 and 2 shorted). To send VGA output to the RTM
(J3), remove the shunt shorting pins 1 and 2 (it can be placed
on either pin for storage). On the 4HP model, VGA output is
routed to J3 by default (pins 1 and 2 open).
NOTE: NOTE:
If the system is booted into Windows OS without a VGA moni-
tor connected, the graphics output will be set to LVDS. To set
the display output signal to VGA, press Control+Alt+F1 after
connecting the VGA monitor to the DB-15 connector.
