Station Ground
The page displays the Station Ground pass/fail results and the following
measurement values:
Line Card Type displays one of the following messages:
Card Not Detected
Voltage Source
Current Source
Line Card Voltage Polarity displays either Ok or Reversed.
Station Voltage is the maximum/minimum AC/DC threshold voltage
value for the circuit.
Loop Current is the minimum loop current for the circuit in mA.
Loop Resistance displays the resistance value of the twisted cable
pair.
Station Ground Resistance from 0.0 to 25.0 ohms is considered a
pass.
If an error message is displayed in lieu of the resistance measurement, one
of the following conditions could exist:
Loop resistance > 10 k Ohms
Tip (A) not connected to Ground (Earth) at CO
Improper hookup (check your lead connections)
Incorrect/no line card
Improper line voltage, polarity, or current
Resistance measurement error (out of range for normal resistance
measurement, etc.).
