Impulse Duration
Impulse Separation Time defines the shortest time between
consecutive discrete impulses, and is used for centering the impulse
on the graph. This separation time also defines the largest allowable
gap between threshold events within a single impulse.
Import from Impulse Scope button allows you to import the Impulse
Separation Time value from Impulse Scope.
Plot Interval is only enabled in the Disruption tab and allows you to
define the time period to display the impulse noise bars on the graph.
The Disruption histogram shows the sum of impulse durations that
are collected during each plot interval (bar).
Setting Threshold Values
The Threshold page allows you to set the Impulse Duration Threshold
for the test.
To set the threshold values:
1. From either the Impulse Duration or Disruption tab, tap the Edit
Thresholds button to open the Threshold page.
2. Set the thresholds as required.
3. Tap Close to confirm and exit the page.
