5.1 DRIVER-SIDE SUPERCHARGER BRACKET INSTALLATION
(FOR PASSENGER SIDE SUPERCHARGER MOUNT, SKIP TO SECTION 5.2)
A.
Remove the alternator bracket and power
steering pump brackets from the engine.
Clean the front of the cylinder head so that
the mounting plate will sit flat when
installed.
B.
Install the Primary mounting plate using the
four .972” long spacers and 1.75” flat
socket head cap screws.
C.
If vehicle is equipped with power steering,
install the power steering pump mounting
bracket along with the factory front
mounting plates to the supercharger
primary plate using the supplied 3/8 x 4.25"
bolts and spacers.
D.
Attach the supercharger mounting plate to
the primary plate using the 3.2” spacers
and 3/8 x 4.25” bolts.
E.
Install the alternator onto the mounting
bracket assembly and use the supplied
alternator tensioner bracket to secure the
free end of the alternator to the water pump
housing.
