10. AIR FILTER INSTALLATION
R. Install the throttle return spring bolt through
the two small spacers and into the inside
front of the enclosure as shown. Install the
throttle return spring.
S. Check for full throttle by having an
assistant press the accelerator to the floor
while verifying that the carburetor
butterflies open fully. If they do not, loosen
the jam nut on the bulkhead fitting and
adjust the depth until the throttle opens
and closes fully. Tighten jam nut.
T. If it is possible to pressurize the fuel system
without starting the engine, do so and
check for leaks.
U. Using the supplied 5/16” cap screws, install
the top cover on the enclosure and tighten
the screws.
V. Hose connections to the carburetor
enclosure may vary. All holes that are not
used should be plugged with the supplied
–3, -8, and ¼” NPT plugs.
