3.5 Configuring Maintenance Parameters
The DTMX5000 has several maintenance parameters, which can be configured through
the unit’s menu driven interface on the local terminal or remote Telnet terminal. These
maintenance parameters enable the definition of groups, static users, and multicast users
in the unit. The unit can also be enabled, disabled, or reset via these parameters.
To edit the maintenance parameter, proceed as follows:
1. Establish a connection between the local terminal and the unit.
2. Press <Ctrl>R to refresh the screen. The following screen opens.
3. Select the Maintenance option from the Main menu.
Note: Options can be selected by performing one of the following:

Type the associate option number.

Navigate to the option using the [

] arrows on the cursor
control keys.
