Appeal Play: When a coach or player appeals a play, select one of the following:

Missed Base

Failed to Touch Base

Left too early

Batting out of order

Skip Pos in Bat Order – skipped positions in the batting order

Hit by Own Batted Ball

Batter Interference

Spectator Interference

Fielder Obstruction

Illegally Batted Ball

Enter Text – opens a new window to type in the circumstances of the special play

Int. Tie Breaker – international tie breaker

Note: Some screens will require all fields to be filled in before it is possible to click
ENTER or press the [Enter] key.

Runs

At the end of each half
inning, the Runs tab
(Figure 27) will appear.
Here the user must assign
runs to the appropriate
pitcher(s) or to the team.

EarnedAny run for which the pitcher is held accountable, such as a run scored as a
result of normal pitching, and not due to fielding error.

Unearned - Any run scored as a result of a fielding error.

Team Unearned The inning should be over except for errors, and the relief pitcher
allows an earned run.

Note: Earned and Unearned runs for each pitcher must equal the amount of runs scored in
the inning or the user cannot leave the screen.

Manual Mode

The Manual tab (Figure 28) allows users to
manually enter game stats if sending
scoring data to scoreboards and displays
live during a game. Refer to the DakStats
