6. Remove the protective cap

from the CPU socket. The

cap is used to protect the

CPU socket against dust

and harmful particles.

Remove the protective cap

only when you are about

to install the CPU.

5. Lifting the load lever will at

the same time lift the load

plate.

Lift the load lever up to

the angle shown on the

photo.

Important:

The CPU will fit in only one orientation and can easily be inserted without exerting

any force.

7. Insert the CPU into the

socket. The gold triangular

mark on the CPU must

align with the corner of

the CPU socket shown on

the photo.

The CPU’s notch will at

the same time fit into the

socket’s alignment key.
