INLET HOSE:

Tools Needed:

Wire Cutters

Flat Head Screwdriver or 5/16" Nut Driver

Screw Clamp and pulling the Cuff from the Deck Adapter (Figure 42).

2. Remove the Lanyard by cutting the white Cable Tie and discarding the Tie.

3. Remove the Inlet Duct and Hose from the machine by removing the Hand

Knob and Washers and sliding the Inlet Duct up and out of the metal

Flat Head Screwdriver or a 5/16" Nut Driver.

NOTE: The cut end of the Hose must be positioned at the bottom of the Inlet Duct

to allow the most space to install the Clamp.

flange down into the metal Housing Flange and install the Hand Knob and
Washers to secure it.

8. Reattach the Inlet Hose Cuff to the mower.

9. Attach the Lanyard loosely to the Hose with the Cable Tie and secure the

large loop of the Lanyard to the top of the Outlet Duct and Collector Hose
Cuff (you will need to loosen and pull the Cuff from the Outlet Duct to attach
the Lanyard)

10. Adjust the position of the Lanyard and Cable Tie on the Hose as needed.

See “Connecting the Inlet Hose to the Hose Adapter” in Chapter 2 for
proper Hose adjustment procedures.
