If there is no start process after 30 seconds, the charger switches automatically to the al-
ternator test. If the start process is not possible, charge or check the battery.
Testing the alter-
nator
(Acctiva Easy chargers
only)
While the engine is running, the charger checks the voltage the alternator is supplying to
the battery.
Alternator test running. Let engine run for approx. 30 seconds at 1500-2000 rpm
Charger displays alternator test result.
To finish the test, disconnect from battery or connect charger to mains supply to begin
charging.
