Switch on an interior lamp (approx. 2-15 W)
Set selector switch to correct position
Connect charger lead to the correct vehicle pole terminals
Connect charger to mains supply
Loosen vehicle pole terminals carefully from the battery poles
Charger supplies the in-car electronics
Change battery
Connect vehicle pole terminals to correct poles of the new battery
Unplug the charger from the mains
Remove charger lead from the vehicle pole terminals
IMPORTANT! Risk of short circuit - the vehicle pole terminals must not touch during the
next step.
