General Information

The Model 703-005 RTU (Remote Terminal Unit) Indoor Enclosure is designed to be a component in
GAI-Tronics SmartSeries

®

system. It mates with a SmartSeries

®

handset or speaker amplifier to form a

SmartSeries

®

station.

When connected to a SmartSeries

®

system, the station operates as a standard multi-party Page/Party

®

device. In addition, it supports supervised input circuits and a relay output (supervision optional). The
following configurations are possible:

• 1 supervised input circuit and 1 supervised relay output (factory setting)
• 2 supervised input circuits and no relay output
• 2 supervised input circuits and 1 non-supervised relay output

Note: The relay output circuit is intended to be used with GAI-Tronics-approved equipment. The circuit
may not support supervision of equipment that is not approved by GAI-Tronics.
