Specify the Cable Between the Power Supply and the Digital V/C or Current
Remote
There are two different cables that connect the remote units to the power supply: one cable connects the
digital V/C remote to the power supply (13a), and one cable connects the current remote to the power
supply (13b).
• Based on the distance between the digital remote and the power supply, order the appropriate part
number.
• Based on the distance between the current remote and the power supply, order the appropriate part
number.
Specify the Cables Between the Power Supply and the Programmable Remote
There are two cables from the power supply to the programmable remote.
• Based on the distance between the programmable remote and the power supply, specify the appropriate
part number. (Part numbers include both cables.)
Specify the Interface Cables Between the Power Supply and the Machine
Computer Interface
There are two cables that connect from the power supply to the machine computer interface: An I/O cable
(input/output) and a V/C cable (voltage/current). The I/O cable is always required. The V/C cable is used
with programmable V/C control, or when no V/C control is specified.
• Determine the necessary length of the machine I/O interface cable and order the appropriate part
number.
• Determine the necessary length of the machine V/C interface cable and order the appropriate part
number.
Specify the Cable Between the Power Supply and the Work Table
The work (positive) cable connects the positive side of the power supply circuit to the workpiece via the
cutting table. It should be kept as short as possible.
• Determine the necessary length for the work cable and order from parts list on page 2-15.
