the tooth surfaces accidentally be contaminated (e.g. with
saliva), the etching procedure has to be repeated.
The reaction time on unprepared enamel (e.g. with fissure
sealings) is 30–60 seconds. If the enamel is selectively
etched, Total Etch has to be left to react for 15–30 seconds.

Warning

Email Preparator blue contains phosphoric acid
and is corrosive. Avoid contact with the eyes,
mucous membrane, and skin (goggles are
recommended for both patients and

practitioners). After contact with the eyes, immediately
rinse with copious amounts of water and see a physician/
ophthalmologist. After skin contact, immediately rinse with
soap and water.

Storage
• Do not use Email Preparator blue after the indicated date

of expiration.

• Store at 2–28 °C
• Date of expiration: see note on bottle/packaging.
• By repeated cooling of the etching gel to refrigerator

temperature or below 0 °C / 32 °F, a cryogel may
develop. Thus, the viscosity increases. This process, how -
ever, is reversible (e.g. by heating up the gel to 50–80 °C /
122–176 °F for 5–10 minutes) and does not damage the
product.

Beschreibung
Email Preparator blau ist ein Gel zur Schmelzätzung und
Dentinkonditionierung im Rahmen von Versiegelungen,
direkten Compositefüllungen sowie der adhäsiven Befesti-
gung von laborgefertigten Restaurationen aus Vollkeramik
oder Composite.

Zusammensetzung
Email Preparator blau enthält Phosphorsäure
(37 Gew.% in Wasser), Polyvinylalkohol und Farbstoff.

Indikation
Zur Anwendung der Schmelzätz- oder Total Etch-Technik bei
• Compositefüllungen
• adhäsiver Befestigung von Inlays (Composite, Voll-

keramik), Kronen, Verblendschalen, Klebebrücken

• Schienungen
• Befestigung von Brackets
• Fissurenversiegelungen

Kontraindikation
Wenn die vorgeschriebene Anwendungstechnik nicht
möglich ist.

Nebenwirkungen
Bisher keine bekannt.

Wechselwirkungen
Unterfüllungsmaterialien auf Glasionomer-Basis können
durch Email Preparator blau angeätzt werden.
