Numbered Foot Switches
The 3 Numbered foot switches will access one of the three presets or channels in the currently selected bank. Each of these switches has an
LED directly above it to indicate the currently selected channel.

Bank Up Foot Switch
This foot switch will advance through the nine user banks. Each successive press of the Bank Up Switch will advance to the next bank. Once
a new bank has been selected, the three numbered switches will flash asking you to select a channel within that bank. The LED display will
also flash the new bank number at this time. The JM60/JM120 will wait 5 seconds for you to select a channel within that bank. If no
selection is made within 5 seconds, the JM60/JM120 will revert back to the last bank and channel that had been active.

Tuner
The Bank Up switch will also activate the tuner. To activate the tuner, press and hold the Bank Up switch for 2 seconds. At that point, any
note played will register in the LED display. The 7 LEDs above the display will provide an indication as to whether the note is flat, sharp, or
in tune. When the single green LED in the center is lit, the note is in tune. If LEDs to the left are lit, your note is flat and must be tuned up. If
LEDs to the right are lit, your note is sharp and must be tuned down. While in tuner mode, the signal is initially muted. The volume of the
dry signal can be controlled by the expression pedal. To exit the tuner mode, simply press any footswitch.

Bank Down Foot Switch
This footswitch will decrement through the nine user banks. Each successive press of the Bank Down Switch will back up to the previous
bank. Once a new bank has been selected, the three numbered switches will flash asking you to select a channel within that bank. The LED
display will also flash the new bank number at this time. The JM60/JM120 will wait 5 seconds for you to select a channel within that bank. If
no selection is made within 5 seconds, the JM60/JM120 will revert back to the last bank and channel that had been active.

Expression Pedal
The expression pedal on the JM8 can be used as a volume pedal, or a wah wah pedal. In normal operation of the JM60/JM120, the J8 will
be a volume pedal. To change the function to a wah, simply rock the pedal all the way forward (toe down) and apply pressure on the toe.
This will engage the switch and activate the wah. To disengage the wah effect, just repeat this toe down procedure and the expression pedal
will control the volume again.

External Speaker

The Marquis JM60 is capable of stereo operation via its 60 watt external speaker output jack. The external speaker must be a minimum 8
Ohm load or higher. Running any load lower than 8

s, could cause permanent damage to the Marquis JM60.

To take advantage

of this option, simply connect an external speaker cabinet such as the J112 to the External Speaker jack on the rear panel of the JM60. The
JM60 will sense the connection and automatically switch to a stereo image. No additional power amp is required to run the speaker cabinet.
The JM120 is already configured in stereo and therefore, does not include the option of connecting an external speaker cabinet.

Headphones

For those times when you want to turn it up without getting thrown out of the house, the JM60/JM120 has included a Headphone jack.
Simply connect a pair of stereo headphones to the rear panel Headphone jack, and set the speaker disable switch to the “off” position. The
JM60/JM120’s master volume adjusts the headphone level.

Direct Outputs

The Marquis provides you with the option of running speaker compensated direct outputs in to your house PA system or a recording
console. This eliminates the need for a microphone. To utilize this feature, you will need a 1/4” stereo “Y” cord. Connect the stereo Y cord
to the Headphone jack on the rear panel of the JM60/JM120. Connect both of the other ends of the Y to two channels of the mixer, and pan
those two channels opposite of each other. This will provide you with a stereo speaker compensated direct interface output.
