A Guided Tour of the Marquis JM60/JM120

The Front Panel

. Input - This 1/4” jack is where you connect your instrument to the JM60/JM120.

2. Master Volume -

This knob is used to control the overall output volume on the JM60/JM120.

3. Amp Models - These buttons will instantly select one of the 18 different amplifier models that the JM60/JM120 has available. Each press

of one of these buttons will access a different type of amp model. The LED corresponding to the currently selected amp
model will light as these buttons are used.

3a. American - This button will call up one of the 6 different American Amplifier models. The American Amp models include:

Black Face, Tweed, Rectified, Blues Combo, Boutique, and High Gain.

3b. British -

This button will call up one of the 6 different British Amplifier models. The British Amp models
include: Class A Clean, Class A Dirty, High Wattage, Master Volume, Modern Gain, and Hot Rod.

3c. Johnson - This button will select one of the 6 Johnson Amplifier models. The Johnson Amp models include: Clean

Tube (a clean combo setting), Crunch Tube (a smoothly overdriven combo), Saturated Tube (an extra gain and
sustain combo), Fuzz (a high gain fuzz distortion), Overdrive (a smooth crunch distortion), and Metal (a high gain
solid state distortion).

4. Amp Controls - These knobs control all of the amplifiers equalization and levels for each preset.

4a. Gain - This knob controls the amount of distortion gain (drive) for each preset.

4b. Treble - This knob is used to increase or decrease the amount of treble enhancement in each preset.

4c. Mid - This knob is used to increase or decrease the amount of mid-range enhancement in each preset.

4d. Bass - This knob is used to increase or decrease the amount of bass enhancement in each preset.

4e. Presence (JM120 only) - This knob is used to adjust the definition or edge for each preset.

4f. Level -

This knob is used to adjust the volume level of each preset.

5) Mod/Pitch Select-

This button is used to select one of the 6 different types of modulation or pitch shifting effects (9 on the JM120).
Each press of this button will select a different type of effect. The Mod/Pitch effects in the JM60 include Chorus,
Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, Vibrato and Pitch Shift. The Mod/Pitch effects in the JM120 include Chorus, Flanger,
Phaser, TremoPan, VibroPan, Ring Modulator, Dual Pitch, Dual Detune, and Rotary Speaker Simulator. The LED next
to the currently selected Mod/Pitch effect will light as this button is pressed. Pressing and holding this button will
