About Extended mounting conditions
The VP-12S4 has a very flexible lens shift arrangement that allows mounting the projector above the
screen possibly eliminating the need for a mounting pole. For the VP-12S4 the projector can be mounted
15% of the height of the screen(=0.15H)* above the top of the viewable portion. For extended mounting
conditions, the lens can be shifted even farther (170% → 200%). However if these values are used, optical
performance may suffer slightly. This could manifest itself as chromatic aberration (minor color fringing)
and/or geometric distortion.
If the projector is used in the extended mounting conditions, the focus pattern will be displayed in Green.
